The heavy snow falling across the area has caused some power outages Wednesday morning.
These are new numbers into the continuous news center. The hardest hit area is Saginaw County, where around 1,500 customers are without power.
There is a large outage in Saginaw County, between Taymouth and Spaulding Townships in the area of the Price Nature Center. That outage has over 1,000 customers offline.
Another area affected is south of the village of St. Charles, where around 100 customers are in the dark on M-52.
Around 60 customers are offline just south of M-57, near the village of Chesaning. Another pocket of outages has been reported in Bridgeport Township, between Portsmouth Road and the Dixie Highway.
Midland County has 73 customers offline at this hour.
Genesee County has just 15 customers in the dark.
Right now, DTE Energy says it has 25,000 customers in its service area.
Huron County has 164 customers in the dark. There are a number of scattered outages near the town of Owendale and a pocket of outages off of M-142, west of the town of Harbor Beach.
There is also a large outage northwest of the village of Croswell. About 425 customers are affected in that area.
In Sanilac County, there are 85 customers without power.
Crews are working to get everyone back up and running.
