Thieves have targeted yet another dealership in Mid-Michigan by making off with tens of thousands of dollars in rims and tires.
Lynette Wedding is the manager at Graff Chevrolet in Mount Pleasant. Wedding said the robbery happened sometime over the weekend while the dealership was closed.
"We were all in shock," Wedding said.
Rims and tire sets from 15 vehicles were taken off the lot. The vehicles targeted were Chevy Tahoes, Suburbans, Silverados and Camaros.
"This has never happened since we've been here," Wedding added.
Most of the vehicles targeted were equipped with premium rims, some as big as 22 inches.
The dealership estimates that the total value of the items stolen was at least $30,000.
So far investigators have told the dealership that they have no leads, but believe that the theft may be a part of a larger crime ring.
