Authorities say a 43-year-old man arrested in a four-county shooting spree in Michigan is being charged with crimes in Livingston County.
Raulie Casteel will be arraigned Wednesday in Howell. His identity was provided by an investigator who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak before the court hearing.
More charges are expected elsewhere this week.
Casteel was arrested Monday in Wixom. He's suspected in 24 shootings, mostly involving moving cars in communities near Interstate 96. One person was injured.
The shootings occurred Oct. 16 through Oct. 18, then stopped until Oct. 27.
Casteel has described himself online as a geologist with experience in environmental cleanup. His Twitter feed is deeply critical of President Barack Obama.
The Saginaw News is reporting that Casteel has no prior criminal record. Some media outlets have reported that Casteel is a graduate of St. Johns High School and an Michigan State University alumni.
