Still no answers after Buena Vista board meeting

Still no answer on the fate of former Buena Vista Township Police Chief Brian Booker.

The Board of Trustees held a special meeting Monday night to discuss the matter.

It quickly went into to closed session, where trustees consulted with attorneys on Booker's lawsuit against the Township.

Former Township Manager Bregitte Braddock fired Booker last February.

Some township leaders thought the board would vote Monday to re-instate or re-fire Booker.

But, the board simply voted to follow the recommendation of the township attorney, to continue gathering more information.

The board is expected to have another closed session to discuss the Booker legal matter some time in February or March.
