A Michigan State Police trooper has reportedly been shot in the leg while in pursuit of two suspects.
Detroit-area broadcasters report the shooting happened early Monday.
WXYZ-TV reports the suspects were taken into custody. WDIV-TV reports the trooper was transported to a hospital for treatment.
A person who answered the phone Monday morning at a state police office says a statement was expected to be issued later in the day.
