Shooting claims life of Flint woman

Police are investigating a shooting that left a local woman dead inside a home.

It happened around 6 p.m. Monday on Flint Park Boulevard off Saginaw Street on Flint's north side.

Police said a neighbor heard the gunshots and then called police.

When police arrived, they found the woman dead inside the home with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The victim's name has not been released.
