Saginaw residents outraged over Facebook fight page

A new Facebook page aimed at highlighting street fights that took place within city limits is drawing sharp criticism from Saginaw residents.

"I've heard of it... I think it's ignorant," said Dorothy Thomas, a Saginaw resident.

The page was created on Friday and has since gotten nearly 900 likes.

There are several videos of street fights, most of which consist of females fighting each other.

Whether or not the people in the videos throwing punches could face charges remains to be seen, but some legal experts said there is nothing illegal about the "distasteful" facebook page.

"It's no different from what Court TV does," said Saginaw attorney James Piazza.
