The Saginaw Police Department and Michigan State Police will be co-hosting a press conference on Friday to discuss the ongoing violence crimes in the city.
The news conference is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. in the front lobby of the police department. Authorities will also speak about the recent arrests as they relate to the crimes. The acting Saginaw Police Chief Brian Lipe and MSP Lieutenant Marvin Jenkins will answer questions about the recent violence.
Over the last few days one man was beaten to death, a drive-by shooting wounded two people including a pregnant woman, another shooting occurred on E. Genesee with unknown victims, and three others have been hospitalized due to gunshot wounds.
If possible, WNEM.com will livestream the news conference at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
