One person is dead in a shooting in Mt. Morris Township. Police have also arrested a person of interest.
The shooting happened Saturday afternoon in the driveway of a home on Nasser Street near Coldwater Road.
The man shot and killed has been identified as 21-year-old Laventez Phipps.
We're told the suspect and victim knew each other.
More than a hundred people showed up to a candlelight vigil Sunday night, in which several people called for an end to violence that is plaguing several neighborhoods in Flint and surrounding areas.
Police believe robbery may have been the motive in the shooting.
