Nexteer considering investing in local plant
It's a waiting game in Mid-Michigan, but it could mean more jobs in the area.
Right now, the Nexteer plant in Buena Vista Township is waiting to hear news of a new contract.
The company could invest 60 million dollars into the Buena Vista plant.
But if Nexteer decides to put that money into a plant in Mexico, it would mean more than 300 jobs south of the border.
No word on when a decision will be made.
