The Bay City Police Department is investigating a possible abduction attempt. Officers spoke with the 6-year-old child, he told police a man asked him to get in his car.
It happened on Kosciuszko near South Lincoln Street.
Police said when the man put his hand on the kid's shoulder when he refused to get in the stranger's car.
The department posted an alert on its Facebook page with information about the possible suspect. It describes the vehicle as a dark colored truck, it could be similar to an S-10 model. The suspect is a white male wearing a black ball cap.
