Bay City's All Saints Central and Essexville Garber High Schools will collect shoes and money for the "shoes for the homeless" event.
It will take place during the boy's basketball game at 6 p.m.
Besides collecting shoes and money, both head coaches will also go the entire day barefoot.
All Saints head coach T.J Newsham and Essexville Garber head coach Devon Gilliam will be shoeless when the teams hit the court Wednesday night.
This is the second year in a row that Newsham has went shoeless for a day.
The teams hope to raise $500 and collect 300 pairs of shoes for Good Samaritan Rescue Mission of Bay County.
For those unable to make it to the game, shoes can be dropped off at Voodoo Tattoo, located at 1010 Columbus Ave. in Bay City. Shoes can also be dropped off at the All Saints Gymnasium at 2306 South Monroe after 5 p.m.
New or used boots and shoes will be accepted.
