Kohl's to hire more than 52,000 nationwide

Christmas is closer than you think, and some stores are already preparing for the shopping season.

Kohl's department stores are getting ahead of the curve, opening up spots for more than 52,000 seasonal staff.

That's an average of 41 new hires per store and 10 percent more seasonal workers than it hired last year.

Others stores like Toys-R-Us, Walmart and Target are also set to announce their hiring plans soon.
