Reports this morning say General Motors is bringing hundreds of jobs to Michigan.
The Detroit Free Press says GM will add 300 jobs to its powertrain engineering headquarters in Pontiac.
GM is expected to hold a news conference Wednesday morning.
Meanwhile, hundreds of local General Motors workers could soon go on strike and are expected to vote on a walkout Thursday.
The Flint Journal says members of local 651 in Flint are expected to hold a strike authorization vote Thursday.
Local 651 represents 870 members at the Flint East and Davison Road Processing Center in Burton.
The union says it has gone nearly two years without a local contract and it says that is keeping new work from coming to the plant.
GM has not commented on the report.
