The city of Flint is holding an online surplus auction in hopes of selling off surplus equipment and assets to raise capital.
The auction officially started at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning and will run until 6 p.m.
The auction is being conducted by Orbitbid.com and is taking place at 886 East Boulevard Drive in Flint. That's right on the Flint River, near Avondale Cemetary and Dayton Park.
Orbitbid.com will have staff on hand to assist in bidding and will have access to free wireless Internet for buyers. Buyers can also participate from anywhere they have an Internet connection.
Large items including trucks, tractors, mowers and power tools will be auctioned off along with office equipment, furniture and more.
