Flint man charged with first-degree child abuse

A 4-month-old girl remains in critical condition after police say her father abused her.

The girl suffered a fractured skull, rib fractures and bruising.

The incident happened over the weekend, and police were called to the home on Amos Drive in Flint.

The father, 28-year-old Brian Guest, is charged with first-degree child abuse. He could spend the rest of his life behind bars if convicted of the charges.

Guest is currently being held without bond in the Genesee County jail.
