Flint group to hold public safety meeting
As gun violence continues to claim lives in the vehicle city, one group hopes to make a difference for people who live and work in the community.
Members of the group Flint Lifelines will hold a public safety forum Tuesday to raise awareness about the number of resources available to people in the city.
The group is led by the mayor's office, city council, the Flint police department and several more partnerships at the local, state and federal levels.
Tuesday's forum will be held at the Kennedy Activity Center on W. Pierson Road at 6 p.m.
