Flint fire officials battle overnight blaze
Fire officials in Flint responded to blaze that is being deemed an arson fire at an abandoned apartment in Flint Thursday morning.
Crews were called to the two-story, six apartment structure around 5:45 a.m.
Officials are calling the blaze suspicious because trenches were dug into the floor and gas was everywhere.
The building is located on 2nd Street near Asylum Street. That's about a quarter of a mile from Mobley Park.
The building was a total loss.
