Little Loretta is someone doctors describe as a miracle baby.
At 6 months old, Loretta has undergone several surgeries for a heart condition, and she still has many more to face.
A whole weekend of fundraising events will try to put a small dent in what will be astronomical medical bills.
Friday through Sunday, there is a softball tournament at the Merrill softball field.
E.J's Bar and Grill in Merrill has live music Friday and Saturday and will donate a portion of their sales to Team Loretta.
There is also a silent auction that starts at noon Saturday.
If you can't make it out this weekend, the family has an account set up for donations.
It's under Team Loretta Benefit Fund at PNC Bank on Gratiot Rd. in Saginaw.
