Dentist office gives back with free services
A local dentist gave patients something to smile about while he gave back to the community. Gateway Dental opened its office on a Sunday to help the uninsured.
"I'm blessed that I have a place to share with the community and kind of give back," said Dr. Bobby Grossi.
Dr. Grossi planned his first annual 'Gateway Gives Back' to help those who can't afford costly dental work. He was grateful to help the community where he is from. The dentist was born and raised in Flint.
Another dentist and 25 volunteers donated their time to make the day of free care possible. Some patients who needed more time intensive procedures were handed a voucher to come back.
Dr. Grossi hoped to see more than 100 people.
