Flint's golden girl will be featured in the newest edition of Sports Illustrated.
Claressa Shields is one of the athletes being featured in Sport's Illustrated's Inspiring Performers of 2012 "The Year of the Women" issue.
Shields was the only American to take home boxing gold, and she did it at the age of 17.
Other female athletes being featured are the U.S. gymnastics and soccer teams.
The issue hits newsstands Monday.
