Buena Vista Township looking into budget dilemma

Buena Vista Township budget passed it's this week, and faced some tough decisions about where to make cuts.

The township faces a 15 thousand dollar budget shortfall.

The cuts come at a time when the police and fire departments are not getting the funds they requested.

Buena Vista Township is looking into paperwork errors as the reason why they missed out on getting funds from the state.

According to the township treasurer, the proper paperwork was not filled out for the state distribute the necessary funds the township requested.
