Bay City man shot Friday dies from injuries
A shooting in Bay City on Friday has turned into a homicide investigation.
Santino Mota has died from his injuries.
Mota was involved in a dispute between two groups early Friday morning in Bay City.
Police say the bullet that injured Mota was actually fired at the pavement, but it ricocheted and struck Mota in the leg and then in the head.
The shooting happened at 6th Street and Van Buren Avenue, just east of downtown.
The Bay City Times has reported that Mota has died.
Four people are awaiting arraignment, three as accessories.
