Bay City City Manager could be headed to Saginaw

The Saginaw County Commission is expected to discuss and possibly vote next week on whether to offer Bay City City Manager Robert Belleman the controller position.


That's according to the Saginaw News.


Belleman is one of three finalists for the job.


Genesee County Controller George Martini and Springfield City Manager Franklin Peterson are other possible candidates.


Saginaw County Commissioner Patrick Wurtzel calls all three candidates very well qualified.


Current Saginaw County Controller Marc McGill is stepping down.


The county board will discuss the position at its meeting Tuesday.
