Authorities use helicopter to search for possible robbery suspects

Police received several reports of possible burglaries in the area of Pangborn and Raucholz roads in Richland Township on Thursday night.

The reports were being made in the area near Hemlock in Saginaw County.

A neighbor told police that they saw two men with flashlights in a wooded area Thursday night. The resident claimed to have seen two men being dropped off in the area. Local neighbors were on high alert because a home in the area had recently been broken into.

A state chopper was in the area at the time of the complaint, circled around and allegedly witnessed a car that took off at a high rate of speed.

No arrests have been made and no one was hurt. Right now there's been no reports of homes in the area being robbed in connection to this incident. Authorities said they plan to increase patrols in the area.

Another possible trespassing incident occurred in Midland overnight.

Police were called out to the Midland Country Club around midnight. Authorities tell TV5 a maintenance man had already locked up the club doors when he heard noise coming from a steam room.

That's when he saw three 20-year-olds in their swimming suits. The maintenance man kicked the three out, then called police. There's no word on who those young adults were.
