All invited to restaurant grand opening

Buena Vista Charter Township and the Downtown Development Authority are pleased to announce the grand opening of the newest Popeyes restaurant.

The Popeyes restaurant is the first commercial development on the Buena Vista Town Center site, formerly the Fort Saginaw Mall.

"This project shows that the private sector is willing and excited to bring investment to the downtown Buena Vista area," said Supervisor Dwayne Parker. "We are thrilled that such a popular restaurant is the catalyst for future investment on the Town Center site, and can't wait to commemorate the grand opening."

Based on the projected volume the restaurant is likely to handle, the project is expected to bring a minimum of 65 jobs to the area.

Guests are invited to help celebrate the grand opening of the newest Popeyes, which will be located at 3355 Holland Ave. off of I-75 exit 149B.

There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, Oct. 22, at 9:30 a.m.
