An accident that took place in Kawkawlin Friday morning, has shut down Huron Road or M-13 between River Road and Parish Road, and now, authorities are conducting an evacuation of homes in the area.
The area is just north of the village of Kawkawlin.
WNEM has received reports that a gas line was hit in the area, and that has forced officials to evacuate homes in the area of Wetters Road and M-13 (Huron Road).
In Midland, the east bound lanes of M-20 are closed because of an accident at Currie Parkway.
The area is near St. Charles Park and Currie Municipal Golf Course, just west of Midland.
Also, in Frankenmuth, there is an accident being reported at the intersection of Dehmel and Townline Roads.
A 5-year-old child is believed to be injured in the crash but the extent of the child's injuries is not known at this time.
That area is about a mile south of the Fortress Golf Course.
Numerous accidents are being reported so use caution when traveling on the roadways.
