Thanks for voting!

After tallying thousands of votes, Barbara Andres, an English Language Arts Teacher from Lincoln High School in Owosso, was declared "FOX 66's Golden Apple Award" winner! FOX 66 surprised Ms. Andres at an assembly in front of her entire school with the Golden Apple Award and certificate.Mrs. Andres will also be recognized throughout February on FOX 66 for her tremendous achievement.

Nominations for the next Golden Apple recipient will be taken in March. Keep checking back for more details.

Ms. Andres has been an instrumental part in the success of every student that walks into the classroom. Her dedication goes well beyond her contracted hours to provide the highest quality education for each of her students. Ms. Andres is a leader amongst the staff and is known as the voice of reason. It is my opinion that all my staff members need to be recognized, but one in particular Ms. Barbara Andres.
